FBI seeks woman who robbed bank in New Brighton

NEW BRIGHTON, Minn. - A reward is offered for information leading to a woman who robbed a bank in New Brighton Monday.

The FBI says the suspect walked into the US Bank branch at 2299 Palmer Drive shortly before 3 p.m. and presented a note to the teller implying that she had a gun.

The teller complied with the robber's demands and handed over an provided an undisclosed amount of cash, which the woman loaded into a backpack before fleeing on foot.

Witnesses describe the suspects as a white female, approimately five foot eight inches tall and 180 pounds.  She was wearing a grey sweater and a fishing hat and dark pants.

US Bank is offering up to a $25,000 reward for information leading to the conviction of the bank robber.
