Former anchor Jeanette Trompeter announces wine club
GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. -- Former Twin Cities news anchor Jeanette Trompeter has a new gig in California's Central Coast, and a new hobby -- wine.
She's created a wine club for Midwesterners to connect them with California wines, called Ruby Shoes Wine Club. With limited memberships, Trompeter is promising to bring the best of the wines she's discovered from her new home back to people in Minnesota and Iowa.
Trompeter is hosting an event Thursday, June 28th at Urban Eatery on Lake Calhoun from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. You can sample wines and learn more about the club.
