MINNEAPOLIS - Most college students look forward to summer as a time to kick back, recharge the batteries, and prepare for another year of hitting the books.

Five students from Grove City College in Pennsylvania are taking a different tack.

Will Moyer and four colleagues started with their bike tires in the Pacific Ocean and will pedal across America, eventually ending up in the shadow of New York City skyscrapers.

Driving them is a goal of raising $25,000 to establish a need-based diversity scholarship at Grove City College, the desire to re-connect the alumni of Grove City College, and to highlight people doing great things in their communities.

By August the group will have traveled 4,000 miles through 13 states. They ask for prayers of safety and strength.
