Swimmer pulled from Shakopee lake dies

    • SHAKOPEE, Minn. - The 17-year-old swimmer pulled from O'Dowd Lake Friday afternoon died Saturday morning.

    The Scott County Sheriff's Office says 17-year-old Jason Daquon Lewis of Shakopee died around 2:30 a.m. at Hennepin County Medical Center.

    Divers found Lewis in about seven feet of water not wearing a life jack after his friends called 911 Friday afternoon. The boy was underwater for about a half an hour before divers located him.
