ST. PAUL, Minn. -- A box of thin mints will cost you more next year.

The Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin River Valleys are increasing their cookie prices in the Twin Cities from $3.50 a box, to $4 a box.

The Girl Scouts blame the jump on the rising costs of baked goods.

The cookie money will still help to cover the costs of troop activities. The organization say without cookie revenue the cost of participating would be significantly higher.
