MINNEAPOLIS - A two-alarm fire has caused extensive damage to the second story of a house in Minneapolis early Thursday morning.
The fire broke out at a single-family home in the 2900 block of Colfax Avenue North just before 5 a.m. The same house had an electrical fire in their ceiling fan Wednesday night.
No one was home at the time of the fire because of the electrical fire the night before.
Nearby homes were unaffected by the fire.
Fire officials are not saying if the two fires are related. Both fires are under investigation.
