APPLE VALLEY, Minn. - An Apple Valley home is a total loss after a fire on Wednesday evening, according to Apple Valley Fire Chief Nealon Thompson.
Crews were called to the home at 14775 Hallmark Dr. at about 5:40 p.m.
When they arrived, the rear of the home was fully engulfed in flames. The two people inside the home were able to get out safely, Thompson said.
He said it took about 40 minutes to get fire under control.
