ANAHEIM, Calif. - Coming up this September, the University of Minnesota will be inducting Lindsey Berg into the M Club's hall of fame. Before that though, she will be captaining the United States Olympic volleyball team in London.
We caught up with the setter in Anaheim, California, at the team's training center. Berg is competing in her third Olympic games. The Americans finished 5th in 2004, and then in 2008, they took home the silver medal.
This time around though, the U.S. women are ranked number one in the world, having just won the World Grand Prix title in China. Berg, who starred at the u from 1999 through 2001, is a big part of the reason the team has been so successful.
