EDINA - There's a new place to "hang 10" in Minnesota.
The "Flowrider" opened this summer at the Edina Aquatic Center and is giving people a unique way to enjoy the water and beat the heat. The machine circulates water to create a wave that you can body board and surf on. Flowrider instructor Chris Impagliazzo says people of all ages have been giving it a try. A Flowrider daily pass will cost you $5. You can also purchase a season pass for $47.50.
KARE 11's Bryan Piatt gave it a try Thursday - even took a spill!
