ROSEVILLE, Minn. - Drivers traveling on Interstate 35W through Arden Hills and Mounds View on Thursday and Friday nights could encounter some delays as crews shift traffic from the inside lanes to the outside lanes of the interstate between County Road 96 and County Road H.

Traffic will be restricted to a single lane in the northbound direction on Thursday night and the southbound lanes will be restricted to a single lane on Friday night.

The lane restrictions will begin at 10 p.m. and will be lifted by 5 a.m. the following day.

The lane shifts will move traffic away from the I-35W median to allow construction of piers for the new eastbound and westbound Highway 10 bridges in Arden Hills and Mounds View.

Once the traffic switch is completed, traffic will still be three lanes in each direction through the work zone, officials said.
