ST. PAUL, Minn. - Gov. Mark Dayton raised a little more than $101,000 in the past six months for his campaign committee.
Dayton spent about the same amount, and has about $46,000 in cash on hand according to the report made public Friday.
Dayton faces re-election in two years.
Dayton also released his personal tax returns for last year. The governor, whose family wealth grew from the Dayton's department store chain, reported a salary of about $105,000 and another $191,000 in capital gains.
Dayton paid $65,378 in federal taxes, which his office said amounted to an effective federal tax rate of 25 percent. He paid about $32,000 in state income taxes, which his office said amounted to a 9.6 percent effective tax rate.
