MINNEAPOLIS - The heat isn't the only thing stick around this summer, so are those pesky Japanese Beetles.

U of M Professor Jeff Hahn says the bugs will be here through mid August.

He says they are a nuisance because there are so many of them, and they're mobile; however, the plants they feed on will survive.

To protect your plants from the beetles, cover them with cheesecloth.
