MINNEAPOLIS - One man is dead and another injured after a shooting on the south side of Minneapolis.
Police spokesman Sgt. William Palmer says squads were called to 1511 38th Street East around 10:30 a.m. on a report of gunshots.
Inside the home they found one person dead and another who had been wounded. There are reports from the scene that the victims are a man in his mid-twenties and his father, although those reports have not been confirmed.
The man who was wounded was rushed to Hennepin County Medical Center, where he is being treated for at least one gunshot wound.
Palmer says police are looking for one or two suspects who fled the scene. He insists that there is no danger for the general public because the gunman or gunmen came to the address for a specific reason, although he would not elaborate on a motive.
