APPLE VALLEY, Minn. - A Minnesota actor could be a part of entertainment history.
On Thursday, the drama "Mad Men" was nominated for a fifth Emmy.
If it wins this fall, it would be the first-ever five-time winner.
Apple Valley-native Vincent Kartheiser plays Pete Campbell on the show. Pete is your typical guy that everyone loves to hate.
He got his start at the Minneapolis Children's Theater.
Kartheiser was back at the theater on Thursday. He says the "Mad Men" cast is honored to be recognized once again.
"There's an email that's going around," he said. "All of us are saying sweet things to each other. Everyone's really excited. It was a really fun season to shoot."
You'll hear much more from Kartheiser and several other famous Minnesota entertainers in a KARE 11 news special scheduled to air later this fall.
