STILLWATER, Minn. - Stillwater police are searching for two men believed to be responsible for a rash of overnight residential burglaries.
Police say that there have also been several instances of thefts from unlocked vehicles that also could be connected.
The crimes have occurred primarily between the hours of 3 and 6 a.m., police say.
They said that the suspects are entering through open doors and windows and are taking purses and wallets along with some small electronics.
The two men are described as white, between the ages of 14 and 20 years old, small builds with dark hair, police said.
The Stillwater Police Department urges residents to make sure all doors are close and locked and that all windows are secured. Homeowners should also keep purses or wallets out of view from doors and windows.
