ST. PAUL, Minn. - Police are investigating a pair of deaths and are calling both homicides.
St. Paul police say a man was shot on the 800 block of Fuller Avenue at approximately 11:30 p.m. Tuesday evening. The man was taken from the scene and later died at Regions Hospital in St. Paul.
Around 8 a.m. Wednesday, police responded to a call of a man down outside on the 400 block of Charles Avenue. Upon their arrival, a man was found dead on the scene.
"Investigators are working to determine what, if any, connection there might be between these incidents. Neither of the deaths is believed to be random at this time," St. Paul Sgt. Paul Paulos wrote in a statement.
The names of the victims were not released.
No suspects are being sought yet.
