COHASSET, Minn. - Three people were reportedly electrocuted at about 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24 on Polegama Lake.
It was reported that three people had possibly been electrocuted by an extension cord which had fallen from a boat lift into the water.
According to the Itasca County Sherriff's Office, Robert Clifford Stoen, of Owatonna, was found unresponsive in the water. CPR was performed and he was transported to Grand Itasca Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Eric Michael Hancock and Cheryl Marie Hancock, each of Owatonna, were taken to Grand Itasca Medical Center and were listed as serious but in stable condition.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
