ROSEVILLE, Minn. - A 19-year-old Little Canada man was arrested on charges of aggravated robbery early Thursday morning, according to the Roseville Police Department.
Police say the teen was arrested at about 1:40 a.m. in connection to an attempted robbery and shooting incident that occurred at the Lar-Dale Apartment complex located in Roseville hours earlier.
At 7:33 p.m. on Wednesday, officers from the Roseville Police Department were dispatched to 655 Larpenteur Ave. W. on a report of shots fired.
Officers said the witnesses helped them located the victim of the shooting. The 21-year-old was not cooperative with police at first, but eventually he admitted the shooting occurred during an illegal narcotics sale, police said.
The victim identified the man who was found by Roseville Police in the 500 block of Skillman Avenue East, police said.
The suspect is currently being held at the Ramsey County Law Enforcement Center on a probable cause aggravated robbery violation.
The investigation is ongoing.
