EDINA, Minn. - Since its inception in 2005, the Federated Challenge has raised several million dollars for the Kids of Minnesota.

It is one of the state's largest and most efficient charities, with nearly 100% of the funds raised going to help deserving young people have a better chance in life.

Richard Sherwood, Vice President, Director of Corporate Communications of Federated Insurance Companies, spoke with KARE 11 Sunrise, from Interlachen County Club in Edina, to talk about how the Challenge raises money in support of the efforts of the Big Brothers, Big Sisters organization in Minnesota.

Golfers will tee off at the Interlachen Country Club, on Monday, July 30, to raise money and help support the Federated Challenge.
