GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Twin Cities Orthopedics is partnering with Allina Medical Clinic to offer free physical exams for Twin Cities high school athletes.

The free exams will be offered at the Edina location of Twin Cities Orthopedics and will take place July 31 and August 9 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. both nights.

The screenings are for athletes who are generally healthy without any known, pre-existing health problems. Athletes with diagnosed health conditions are advised to consult with their regular physician for a more in-depth physical.

Along with the free physical exam, athletes will recieve sports drinks, nutrition bars, a drawstring backpack and if the athlete is registered by August 7, they are entered into a drawing to win an iPad.

No appointment is necessary but students are asked to fill out and bring an examination clearance form to their appointment. Each student should either bring their parent with, or have a parent's signature.
