MINNEAPOLIS - Comedian Dave Chappelle, who shot to fame with Comedy Central's "Chappelle's Show," will perform a stand-up show on Thursday.
Chappelle will perform at the State Theatre in Minneapolis at 9 p.m. on Thursday. Tickets went on sale at 4 p.m. Wednesday.
In 2005, Chappelle shocked the entertainment industry when he walked away from his successful cable series and a reported $50 million dollar new contract.
Recently, Chappelle has set up these last minute shows in cities around the country.
