MINNEAPOLIS--It's a big weekend in Minneapolis for art lovers with three major fairs.

The biggest is the Uptown Art Fair located along Lake Street and Hennepin Avenue in southwest Minneapolis. It features more than 350 artists, food vendors, music and more. The Uptown Art Fair starts on Friday, August 3 at noon and runs through Sunday at 5 p.m.

Just down Hennepin the Loring Park Art Festival features the work of more than 140 artists working in a wide variety of media. From painting, photography, jewelry, sculpture and more there's something for all tastes during the festival on Saturday and Sunday.

And rounding out the three is the Powderhorn Art Fair located in Powderhorn Park in Minneapolis on Saturday and Sunday. The fair features 184 regional and national artists along the shores of the lake.

If you want to hit all three art fairs Metro Transit is offering a free Art Fair Pass. The Pass offers free bus or light rail service from home or a Park & Ride lot and to each of the weekend's art fairs. It also allows riders to travel between all the fairs. Download the pass here.
