ST. PAUL, Minn. - The Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and explosives (ATF) is offering a $5,000 reward in an attempt to break a case involving the theft of dozens of handguns from Gander Mountain in Woodbury.

More than 30 handguns were taken during the burglary at the store, located at 10470 Hudson Road, when a group of suspects broke in July 12.

Surveillance cameras at the federally licensed firearms dealer captured at least three men working together to pull the guns from a glass case.

This isn't an isolated incident, according to A.J. Fry, assistant speical agent with the ATF, said. Just a few weeks ago a gun shop in Fridely and another one in New Brighton were also burglarized.  Authorities aren't saying if they cases are related.

ATF Special Agent in Charge Bernard J. Zapor says the reward will be given to anyone who provides information leading to the arrest and conviction of the persons responsible for the firearms theft.

Woodbury Police and the ATF are working together on the case. Any information regarding this burglary should be reported to the St. Paul ATF Office at (651) 726-0300 or Woodbury Police Department at (651) 266-9508.
