GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - They've tried cold compresses, aspirin, even holistic healing... but the KARE 11 Sunrise crew can't quash their overwhelming case of Olympic fever.
On Tuesday Tim McNiff, Kim Insley, Sven Sundgaard and Pete Busch used some technological slight-of-hand to immerse themselves in the games trying their hand at track and field, gymnastics, and diving.
While Sven and Kim seemed to enjoy their time on the medal podium, it was a distinct downer for Tim who saw his dreams of gold swirl the drain.
Throw in some great Olympic reporting and the unique flavor sports director Eric Perkins brings, and it was another great morning for viewers to get into the spirit of the London Games, KARE 11 style.
