ST. PAUL, Minn. - Two men are in custody after a 14-year-old girl was found dead in a St. Paul home Monday morning.

Officers were called to a house in the 200 block of Charles Avenue around 10 a.m. on the report of a girl not breathing. When they arrived on the scene they found a girl unresponsive in an upstairs bedroom.

Medics arrived and pronounced the girl dead.

Authorities later learned a 17-year-old girl who was a friend of the deceased teen was at Regions Hospital on a possible overdose.

Investigators discovered both girls were taken to a party in Burnsville where they were given alcohol, marijuana and a drink containing a mixture of codeine and Sprite.

Police believe the men provided the alcohol and drugs that the underage girls ingested.

The girls were driven home and police say they became ill and went to bed. Relatives discovered one of the girls to be unresponsive.

Two men, ages 19 and 25, who were allegedly with the victim during the incident were interviewed and later arrested.  They are being held on suspicion of unintentional third-degree murder.
