MINNEAPOLIS - Police say one man is dead following a shooting in north Minneapolis early Friday morning.
Officers were called to a home in the 3100 block of Dupont Avenue North around 2 a.m. on a report of a shooting. When they arrived on the scene they found a deceased male inside the home with a gunshot wound to the chest.
Authorities brought in dogs to search for suspects and took several people in for questioning but say there are no official suspects in custody at this time.

The victim's identity will be released by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office when their investigation is complete.
