FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. - Just one look into someone's eyes and you can tell a surprising amount about their health.
The Minnesota Optometric Association (MOA) is offering complimentary OPTOS retinal eye screenings again at the Great Minnesota Get Together.
During screenings, individuals will be able to view high definition images of their own retinas. By looking at your retina, optometrists can spot the early signs of glaucoma, diabetes, macular degeneration and sometimes cancer. Please note that screenings do not take the place of regular, comprehensive eye exams.
As always, family eye doctors will be on hand to answer any of your eye health questions.
The Minnesota Optometric Association is a voluntary organization of eye doctors committed to enhancing eye health care for all Minnesotans through legislative and advocacy efforts, community service and continued education.
