FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. - The YMCA of the Greater Twin Cities - Diabetes Prevention Program will be in the Health Fair 11 building helping fairgoers to determine their risk score for type 2 diabetes. 

You can discuss prevention measures with them and participate in a "create your plate" activity.

The YMCA of the Greater Twin Cities is a non-profit serving hundreds of communities in Minnesota and Western Wisconsin.  Its focus is youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.  Over the years, the Y has responded to the changing needs of our communities. The YMCA's Diabetes Prevention Program is a national effort aimed at creating a healthier community.  Its goal is to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to become healthier, more confident, and connected.
