FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. -- Police say a fight at the Minnesota State Fair escalated into a double stabbing Sunday night.

The incident happened around 6:15 p.m. near the corner of Dan Patch Avenue and Cooper Street.

Authorities say two adult males were stabbed in the abdomen.  Both men were transported to Regions Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

"He was kind of stumbling," said Zach Powers, a fairgoer who saw one of the victims in the wake of the stabbing. "We saw him, he was over there when he collapsed and we could see the guy he was, the paramedics came up to him and they had their trauma kits and everything ready and you could see him bleeding, he was bleeding from the side."

So far, no arrests have been made.  Investigators say the incident doesn't appear to be random.

Police were unable to recover the weapon after a two hour search of the area.

An estimated 50,000-60,000 people were in the area at the time of the incident.  State Fair officials are calling the stabbing an isolated incident and insist the fair is still safe.
