TOWN OF LYNDEN, Wis. - The search is expected to resume at 8 a.m. Monday for a 28-year-old Plymouth man who fell out of a boat in Lake Ellen in Sheboygan County.
The man was first reported missing at 12:57 a.m. Sunday from a person on a boat on Lake Ellen, located in the Town of Lyndon outside of Cascade in the southwestern part of the county. The caller reported that another person had been on the boat but had "not been heard from in over 10 minutes," according to a sheriff's office news release.
Sgt. Blaine Spicer of the sheriff's office said Sunday afternoon that the man fell overboard - authorities had earlier declined to provide details of the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Various law enforcement agencies starting searching Sunday for the man, including dive teams from Sheboygan and Calumet counties.
They suspended the search at about 5:30 p.m. but were expected to resume at 8 a.m. Monday.
