FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. - A young girl from Blaine experienced a dream come true at the Minnesota State Fair.

Chloe McCarty, 13, got to meet Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx before his band took the stage in the Grandstand on Wednesday night.

The meeting came about following a video that Chloe made, last fall, and posted online. The video contained a song from Sixx's other band Sixx AM. Chloe says that making the video was her way to share her feelings after being bullied because of a medical condition called Trichotillomania that causes her to pull her hair out.

"Basically, it was just telling who I am, what my story was and making people feel like no matter who they are it's okay to be themselves," Chloe explained.

Sixx saw the video and was very touched by it; and said that one day he would like to meet Chloe.

Chloe also got to meet Sixx's Motley Crue bandmate Tommy Lee and 'Sixth Sense' radio show host Kerri Kasem.

Sixx tweeted the following after the meeting: "With the beautiful Chloe McCarty in St Paul."  He also posted a picture of the two of them.
