MINNEAPOLIS - With the mini heat wave the Twin Cities has seen lately, the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board is extending the season at 32 of its 65 wading pools.
Originally scheduled to close Tuesday, Sept. 4, 32 wading pools throughout the city will remain open through Sunday, Sept. 9. If temperatures remain at 80 degrees or above at that time, pools may remain open longer.
