Minnetonka, Minn. - KARE 11 Sunrise Morning Meteorologist Sven Sundgaard is hitting the pavement for Run with KARE. Each Friday leading up to the Twin Cities Marathon on October 6, Sven will be live in the community to meet up with different running groups, and to spotlight the benefits of running.
First up, Hopkins High School. The boys and girls cross country teams joined us throughout KARE 11 Sunrise to share their training routine.
We also talked with a member of the running group ALARC who uses Hopkins' Lindbergh Center facility to train for marathons.
