BENTON COUNTY, Minn. - A motorcyclist is dead after running into a farm implement in central Minnesota Wednesday night.

The State Patrol website say 45-year-old John Mihlbauer of St. Cloud was killed on Highway 10 near the junction with 80th Street when his Victory motorcycle rear ended a tractor with a mounted mower blade on the back.

Mihlbauer was pronounced dead on the scene.

Investigators say the tractor, driven by a 56-year-old man from St. Joseph, was in the right lane doing 18 miles per hour. The tractor had two flashing lights and a rotating amber light that were all operational.
