MINNEAPOLIS - An adult man was killed in north Minneapolis Friday night after suffering apparent stab wounds, according to the Minneapolis Police Department.
Sgt. Stephen McCarty said police were called to 18th and Lyndale Avenues North at about 7:30 p.m.
He said preliminary information could not determine if the victim was on a bus or not, but did say the man was found in the street near a bus shelter at that intersection.
No suspect is in custody, McCarty said. Police do not believe there is a risk to public safety.
The victim's name has not been released.
