MINNEAPOLIS - The American Cancer Society Hope Lodge is drumming up awareness for Lee National Denim Day, which is next Monday, October 1.
They welcomed the public into their facility Wednesday morning for breakfast, which provides free housing for those undergoing cancer treatment.
To take part in Lee National Denim Day, you're asked to wear denim any day in October and donate $5 to fight breast cancer. You can donate online, start a team or join a team. Since being launched in 1996, $86 million has been raised.
KARE 11's Bryan Piatt learns more about how you can take part and talks with a Hope Lodge resident who's battling cancer for the fourth time.
