ALMA, Wis. - A southwestern Wisconsin deer hunter is dead after an ATV accident late Sunday.
The family of 57-year-old Greg Fedie of Arcadia called authorities just before midnight when he failed to come home from moving his tree stands.
Deputies found Fedie's vehicle and searched the immediate area. They soon found his ATV and Fedie's body nearby. It was apparent to them that the victim had crashed his ATV, suffering critical injuries in the process.
The crash remains under investigation by the Buffalo Couny Sheriff's Office and the Wisconsin DNR.
