MINNEAPOLIS - The family of one of the victims of the Accent Signage shooting said they have taken their loved one off life support Wednesday night. Eric Rivers has been in critical condition at HCMC ever since the shooting nearly two weeks ago. Rivers was one of several people shot by an employee at Accent who had just been fired.

Five people, including the company's founder, were killed.
Two others survived the shooting and are out of the hospital.
The gunman eventually turned the gun on himself.

Here is the statement from the family of Eric Rivers:

"We are grateful for the incredible courage displayed by the men and women who responded to the emergency and the wonderful medical team at Hennepin County Medical Center, who have been caring for Eric. At this time, the family asks for privacy as they deal with this tragedy. We thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers."
