NORTH ST. PAUL, Minn. - Disgraced financier Tom Petters is no longer front page news, but the continuing effort to repay those he cheated in a high-profile ponzi scheme continues to offer opportunities .
On Monday, part of Petters' personal collection or art, sports memorabilia and collectibles goes on the auction block.
The items, which include autographed balls, jerseys, photos, Peter Max & Leroy Neiman artworks, and a money covered dog sculpture by Justin Smith will be sold at Luther Auctions in North St. Paul on Monday, October 15, starting at 6 p.m.
Also on the block are sports cards from the private collection of the late Dark Star.
The Petters collection can be previewed on Sunday, October 14th between 4 and 8 p.m., and on Monday between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
