MINNEAPOLIS -- A suspected drunk driver is accused of running down six pedestrians Sunday near the U of M in Minneapolis.
According to Minneapolis police, the accident happened around 3 p.m. near the intersection of Washington Avenue and Oak Street.
All six victims were taken to the hospital. Three remained hospitalized on Sunday evening. Three others were treated and released.
The driver was arrested on suspicion of DWI and booked into the Hennepin County Jail.
Formal charges are pending.
