WINDSOR, Nova Scotia - A group of intrepid folks took to the sea over the weekend for an annual regatta race, but instead of paddling in boats, they used hollowed out pumpkins.
Pumpkins aren't really known for their hydrodynamics, or for their ability to float. But that didn't stop them from racing across a lake in the 14th Annual pumpkin regatta.
People decorated their pumpkins in bright colors before setting sail.
The event was for a good cause, to raise money for the Children's Wish Foundation.
