CARLTON, Minn. -- An accident involving an ATV and a semi tractor/trailer injured three youths in Carlton County at approximately 4 p.m. this afternoon.
The 69-year-old driver of the semi tractor/trailer was arrested for driving under the influence and transported to Carlton County jail pending formal charges. The semi tractor driver was not injured in the accident.
The three juveniles on the ATV, ages 14, 10 and 9 were transported to Mercy Hospital for treatment.
We will update conditions as they are known. Carlton County Sheriff's Department and the Minnesota State Patrol are continuing to investigate at this time.
