BROOKLYLN PARK, Minn.-- Chef Jim Malinowski from Girvan Grille joined KARE Saturday morning to show us his famous Ghost Wings, his extremely spicy hot wings that burn twice!
The wings are made with the hottest peppers on Earth and the restaurant even features a Ghost Wings challenge that 200 have completed and gone on the Wall of Fame.

Oven Method-Cook wings for 30 minutes at 300 degrees F., raise temp to 425 degrees, and cook another 30-35 minutes, turning over part way through.
Deep Fry Method-Heat oil to 375 degrees-use an accurate deep fry thermometer. Fry 10-12 minutes, until crispy and done through.
Wing Rub: 1 teaspoon kosher salt,
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
¼ teaspoon dry thyme
¼ teaspoon cayenne
Toss raw wings with rub to taste before cooking, using either method.
Buffalo Sauce: Melt ½ stick unsalted butter
Add 8 oz. cayenne pepper sauce (Chef Malinowski recommends Franks Original Red Hot)
Toss finished wings in sauce and serve with celery sticks and blue cheese dip.
Blue Cheese Dip: Mix 2 cups sour cream
1 cup crumbled blue cheese
½ cup mayonnaise
A splash of Worcestershire sauce
A splash of Tabasco
¼ teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
Let sit for at least an hour to allow flavors to blend.
