WATERVILLE, Minn. -- The body of a 17-year-old student from Waterville-Elysian-Morris High School was recovered around 2 p.m. Saturday from Lake Elysian in Waseca County.
Brady Hruska, of Waterville, was duck hunting when the boat he and five friends were on capsized about 200 yards from shore at about 6 a.m. Other hunters on the lake heard cries for help and responded. They were able to rescue four of the hunters from the water, but a fifth person, later identified as Hruska, was not found.
Authorities continued to search the water and the Le Sueur County Dive Team located the body of Hruska around 2 p.m.
The Waseca County Sheriff's Office did not have information on the condition of the rescued hunters.
Hruska was a member of the Waterville-Elysian-Morristown High School football team. The team is scheduled to play against Medford High School Saturday at 7 p.m.
