Thieves steal 360-pound pumpkin from Wis. business

MERRILL, Wis. - Police in Merrill are looking for thieves who stole a "Great Pumpkin" from a business.

The Lincoln County sheriff's office is asking for the public's help finding whoever stole a 360-pound pumpkin from Gail's Place in Merrill.

The business owner reported the theft Sunday afternoon and believed it may have happened overnight.

The stolen pumpkin is valued at $300.

WSAW-TV reports investigators say more than one person would have been needed to take the pumpkin.
