ST. PAUL - A long line of eager voters snaked through the halls of McNeely Hall on the University of St. Thomas Campus Tuesday morning, as the doors opened on election day 2012.
An estimated three million Minnesota voters are expected to cast ballots in this important election, that will decide the races for President, U.S. Representative, and in Minnesota, countless local races for state legislature, mayor, city council, and others.
Also on the ballot are two constitutional initiatives, one to ban marriage between same-sex couples and the other to require state-issued identification to vote.
