SHAKOPEE, Minn. - Sprinklers are being credited for limiting damage at a strip mall in after an overnight fire in Shakopee.
Fire crews were summoned to the South Bridge Crossing mall on Carriage Court around 3:00. by an alarm company. When they arrived they found extensive damage to the Wine Styles beverage shop, but no significant impact to the businesses on either side.
Chief Rick Coleman says the fire may have been triggered by an explosion of some sort, but investigators continue to work the scene in search of an official cause.
No one was hurt.
