Victim identified in south Minneapolis shooting

MINNEAPOLIS - The body of a man discovered in an alley on the near south side early Wednesday has been identified.

Twenty-nine-year-old Michael Hayden suffered multiple gun shot wounds in a shooting that occurred at about 3 a.m. on Wednesday, according to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office.

Officers who responded to a shots fired call on the 2100 block of 10th Avenue South found a man laying in the alley.

Police currently do not have anyone in custody. They ask anyone who may know anything about the crime to call the TIPS Line at 612-692-TIPS (8477).
