Passenger jet flies over south Minneapolis
MINNEAPOLIS - A proposal to change flight patterns in and out of MSP International Airport takes another step forward. A plan by the Federal Aviation Administration got the recommendation of the Noise Oversight Committee on Wednesday.
The Metropolitan airports commission will make the final decision on Monday.
If approved, the new patterns would be in place by spring.
The proposal would concentrate flight paths south and east of the airport and more planes would take off to the north.
