ST. PAUL, Minn. - Dubbed as the first-ever world record for 24 hours of nonstop PedalPub pedaling is raising money for a local charity in connection to Give to the Max Day.
Pedal to the Max for Spare Key will involve up to 120 riders.
As a result of a matching gift from Treasure Island Casino, donations collected between 8:30 a.m. and noon on Thursday will be tripled.
Spare Key is a Minnesota nonprofit that makes mortgage payments for Minnesota families that have seriously ill or critically injured children in the hospital. Its goal is to provide parents the opportunity to be at the hospital as a key member of the child's care team.
